I am also looking forwards to finding out where this goes! ...is something nobody ever wants to hear the writer admit...
I obviously have strong ideas about the main differences from the real-world timeline, which are going to become very significant, but there's a lot I can only find out by writing their reactions. And I swear both these guys are killing me. I'm not sure which of them I want to slap most.
I adore Proud Dad/Granddad Burr so much I cannot even tell you. Though it's utterly heartbreaking reading those parts of his letters and journal, knowing he loses them both.
And I'm so glad someone liked that simile! I confess to having been very proud when I came up with it :) (And then spent about two hours looking into eyesight and the history of spectacles before deciding that even if Hamilton's spectacles may not have actually compensated for focal issues I could still use the comparison, and also that maybe there's such a thing as Too Much Research)
