I wonder what Teodoras gameplan is. She probably isn‘t going to share it with Saturnus (although she probably should, he was the Overlord after all and has experience she could use), but she must‘ve had SOME sort of plan to ween Agatha of the locket.

She can‘t just plan to actively cripple her granddaughter for the rest of her life, just because she‘s afraid of what happens otherwise.
(How much does her strong dislike of Mechanicsburg and the Heterodynes play into this? I mean, keeping Agatha hobbled and childless is an elegant way to end the bloodline.)
