   And I actually meant to imply Darcy asked J and he had other tasks for her unrelated to Jane? I think it'l be more clear in the next part of the series, though, 'cause that's from Darcy's perspective. :)

      Gotcha. My head canon is that J loves, platonically, Darcy and wants her around, so either Steve telling him or him overhearing that conversation would have made him come up with new plans.
