    I know this would be guessing because of the fact that the husband is an official character but i got some ideas:

    -Bianca: Cynthia has gone to Unova and with her mom being a great trainer she would feel like she has to despite not having the same skills. This is what causes her dad to not want her to travel, and Cynthia thinks Ashley could help her with that-
    -Kahili: She has gone to Alola too and we know her father is rich, so in the flipside you can say that as her mom is a champion due to this she felt motivated in being one of the stronger trainers in Alola.
    -Amelia: Ok, this is a token entry for a contest girl. But in a way if you want a complicated relationship you could have like her dad spoiling her but Cynthia not being too proud of this.

    Also, could i ask in which episodes are you going to write the edits, please.
