again, I'm stumped coz I never imagined someone would go back to the beginning after the events of this fic to see it from a diff angle and I mean just the...investment you're making for this fic is kinda overwhelming me to happy tears rn, it's just such an honour??
and yas, the title again (*´∀`*) I'm gonna admit, I'm an easter egg idiot and I adoooore things that have hidden symbolism and references and double meanings to the point that I'm a legit pain to watch stuff with because I pause every two seconds coz I thought I saw something, and as a super-fan of things like that I'm incredibly grateful and blessed that something like that worked for you in this fic (´ω`*)
THANK YOU. YOU ARE AWESOME. ALSO TAKE CARE AND ALL THE BEST FOR EXAMS AND YOUR ORAL DEFENSE AND EVERYTHING. OSHI!!
IT JUST MEANS YOUR Easter eggs ARE THAT GOOD I love when stories have that much emotional depth because it means you're not told everything immediately but the hints are there so when you can go back it makes so much more sense (It's also why I'm happy I'm waiting with watching YOI until it's completely done since I get all the spoilers and so can see the entire narrative once I actually sit down to binge watch it)
Well xD I'm personally a big fan of Knox' Ten Commandments. It's an old set of rules for mystery writing but the spirit of it works really well for all types of lit and yeah, just these types of hints, the subtleties, and the symbolism and the Easter eggs are why I'm a lit student. They're the best part of a good narrative and you do them so well. xD which means I can totally relate to that - plus I'm the type who talks through an entire movie, insisting on discussing it as I go along.
THANK YOU!! I WILL NEED IT!! The primary examination is more intimidating than Kataoka Tesshin - and he's not as pedagogical. So yeah. CAN'T WAIT FOR THE 20th TO *GO AWAY*
GIRRRRLLL first up, omg fellow lit student - high five! Or, well, I should say I used to be a lit student til my parents freaked out over me continuing with it in degree but I STILL REMAIN ONE AT HEART ;A;
ALSO YAS Knox' Ten Commandments are my jam?? I've been obsessed with mystery ever since I read "And Then There Were None" and "Murder on the Orient Express" and my bookshelves are literally 50% mystery and it's the first genre I actually ever attempted to write something for and omg I'm sorry I'm spazzing but I'm so excited??? Coz like, you bringing that up in relation to this fic is just...idek, I don't even have words anymore. I'm just gonna go flop somewhere in a happiness coma.
STILL CHEERING FOR YOU. IT'S ALMOST OVER. As one of my lecturers used to say, "Kill the paper and kill it hard so it never gets up again"
OOOOOOOOH!! A SENPAI -high fives- Once a lit student, always a lit student!! And the great thing about studying lit is that you can always open a novel or a short story collection or a speech and you'll be there again :D
Oh my gosh. I'm not even that good at reading mystery, I'm more of a fantasy nerd myself. But seriously I'm still so fascinated with the genre and I can never wrap my head around all the little things and-- xD sorry I got caught in the fangirling. I am such a huge fan of Knox' Ten Commandments tho and it pisses me off when writers today don't use them - I CAN TELL - so your stuff is just... yeah xD it made me think of that so I'm sorry...? please don't stay comatose too long.
