    My gosh, I read this chapter like, an hour ago, and I've been thinking about it a lot then realized- Eret thought that someone that Sam was basically family with was in a romantic relationship, now Skeppy is thinking that someone that Ant viewed as family was in a romantic relationship as well, and like, I know it isn't quite the same with the way the story is treating it, but just an interesting parallel that I just thought of, lol

      !!! I didn't even realize it either, but it seems like all Awe-affiliates are doomed to fall into similar misunderstandings for how their interpersonal relationships are percieved.  And perhaps that's because I love drama and misunderstandings, or perhaps it's because they just happen to care for individuals who are very competent at a great deal of things except for managing their personal relationships, and then they're too busy shoving their feet enthusiastically into their mouths to form coherent and rational thoughts ;)
