Yes! I thought it would be really fun to lean into the idea that everyone thinks Lan Wangji hates Wei Wuxian. I love that one scene in the donghua during the Cloud Recesses study arc, where Wei Wuxian is cornered without his sword and starts using just a hint of demonic/ghost cultivation and then Jiang Cheng and Lan Wangji show up, and Jiang Cheng steps in from of Wei Wuxian so Lan Wangji won't see. (It's so good.)
