    Omg!!! This is such a great fanfic so far and I love the little snippets of Shadow and Maria from before the Ark tragedy. Poor shadow is going through it 🥲

    The way you write Shadow dealing with his feelings for Maria feels very in character for him. The way he tries to justify and explain it to himself is so sweet. I can’t wait to see how Maria responds to this ‘intense’ love of his.

    I am a sucker for human x nonhuman and this ship has been a favorite of mine since I was young. Thank you for this amazing fic, and I can not wait to see what happens next! ❤️

      Thank you so much! I've read a lot of fics where Maria is the one to initiate something romantic directly with Shadow, or where he confesses first, but I kind of want to do something different... ;)
