    Here's the rundown of my buddy's "Annihilate Raphaels Ass In Seconds"-build:

    1 attack from being lvl 5 Paladin and 1 more from being lvl 5 Warlock with the Thirsting Blade Eldritch Invocation. Because they're 2 different resources for a +1 attack they stack, so that's 3 total attacks in one round. Lvl 2 Fighter gives Action Surge, plus Haste plus Terazul. So you have base action(1 turn), Action Surge(2 turns), Haste(3 turns) og Terazul(4 turns). 4 turns/actions with 3 attacks = 12 total attacks. And because Soleil cast Hold Monster on Raphael first, they all crit. Add in five 1st lvl smite, three 2nd lvl smite and two 3rd lvl smite that also crits. He also used Hex, which gives 1d6 extra damage on each attack.

    Lastly the character has +7 in Charisma, so that's 7 dmg flat, Gloves that give +2 dmg, weapon enchanted with Elemental Weapons which for some reason gives +1 dmg and +1d4 dmg (in D&D it's +1 to hit and +1d4 dmg)
    He also has the Savage Attacker feat that makes all damage dice roll with advantage.

    His weapon, the Deva Mace, is also insane, it does 1d6+4d8 dmg. Plus an oil for the weapon that gives +1 dmg and Elixir of Colossus which gives +1d4 dmg.

    All in all, he would do: 2d6(hex+weap)+7d8(avg. smite dmg + weap.)+2d4(collosal potion+elemental weapon) + 11 (cha+gloves+elemental weapon+oil)

    And all of it crits thanks to Hold Monster so all damage dice are doubled:
    **4d6+14d8+4d4+11 per attack for 12 total attacks**
    And each damage die is rolled with advantage because of Savage Attacker.

    Add all that up equals One Dead as Hell Raphael.

    Or as my buddy described the encounter:
    "Raphael coming home and finding us: You break into my home, you steal my artifacts, you... Why do I hear Doom music?”

      I just want to say thank you so much for posting that build!! and also! This is such a great fic. I think i’m actually rereading it, so I just know it’s going to be such a gift to see it happen all over again from the very beginning.
