  1. If this doesn't wake Danny up nothing will.

This Taylor is definitely a lot more self-aware and self-controlled than canon; I'm guessing that's what enabled her to shut down the overwhelming input of all the millions of signals before it started to fry her brain, so she didn't need to second-trigger? And the changer aspect is what she kept instead of having that part reassigned to multi-tasking?

A giant spider ought to be able to weave silk just as well as a million tiny ones, so there's a lot of utility there... I dunno if she's really suited to hero work, it depends on how thoroughly she can ignore the square cube law. Because a wasp is built like a tank for the size it is, but if all you did was scale it up to the size of a human it wouldn't be able to breathe unassisted, let alone shrug off a bullet. She could have a heck of a career as a Rogue though, just selling silk or other things she can manufacture now. Maybe a business partnership with Parian?

Hmmm I guess the next experiment to run would be whether she can merge with more than one bug at a time? And then maybe testing how her changer powers react to injury, because if she could offload damage to the bug side or fix up holes by shapeshifting around them that would make cape stuff a whole lot safer. Ooh, can she mix and match in such a way that she gets 4-6 arms with human-like dexterity on each?

I feel like there's gonna be some very unintuitive combos that end up very useful too. Like, a Ladybug is basically a terrifying engine of destruction if you're on the same scale as it, nigh-invulnerable with their elytra closed, and then able to fly too. Robber Flies have some of the highest successful kill rates in the animal kingdom, even against creatures bigger than they are or with impressive natural weapons, because their limbs are designed for expert grappling. And of course the visual capabilities and airborne agility of dragonflies are incredible...

Ooh, could she manipulate ants and other hive-based bugs without having to touch their minds directly by producing her own pheromone signals?
