Thank you!! I'm pretty happy about how this chapter ended up being. I wanted BarChas to be similar to how they're currently in the story, but also show that they have other people in their life, and that people had other people in theirs too (more Nephteros and Kuroka together, please!). The first part was focused on the Lillqvists in the future, but this one was about just before Barbatos married into the Lillqvist. Even when this was a short story, I want to think this was the last time they miscommunicated, that's why part 1 Barbs was more mellow and open.
I think I remember that tweet you mention, about how they ended arguing about "I love you more, I fell for you first" while Rachel stood back enjoying herself in the background. The poor girl always ends up bloodless lol.
Poor Eligor just wanted to go home, but I guess she got some kind of prize out of this haha. For me she can visit the kiddos as much as she wants, BarChas owe her (indirectly) a lot.
