Comment on What if Percy Jackson...? | Crossovers

  1. Where/how are these ancient laws decided though? Like are they written down somewhere?

    1. They are briefly mentioned throughout the books. The first and second are first mentioned when Chiron tells Percy about the theft of the Master Bolt.
About the gods not raising their children, there are only references to it and that it is Zeus's law throughout the books, for example when Apollo mentions in the Titan's curse that Zeus has forbidden the gods to help the demigods, when he talks to Percy in his disguise as Fred, Hera also mentions it later, but in a way that the demigods do not belong to her supposedly perfect family or something like that, I don't remember well what Hera said

      1. Well yeah I know all of that. But I just wasn't sure if there was like an actual tablet or source that actually says and shows what all the laws are and what the deadbeat parent excused are.

        1. No, it's just what can be gathered throughout the books. Riordan left several things up in the air, others he seems to have forgotten about, others he initially gave importance to and then never touched on again, etc.
