They do not have Semblances. That's because Semblances run off of Aura, as far as I can tell, and aura isn't a thing in this story.
The fire fists is actually based on one of the monk's starting feats from PF2E, the "Stoked Flame Stance". I was originally going to go with dragon stance for her, but that was more about single hits and avoiding blows. Stoked Flame on the other hand, is all about the quick hits that eventually do persistent fire damage. Not quite a 1 to 1, but it's based on that.
Ruby is still the child of Summer and Taiyang, just as Yang is Raven and Taiyang. It'll go more into their history later on, along with what happened, once we actually get to Raven. (She'll show up. Don't know when. But she will.)
