    Knowing this is fiction, I felt like screaming "What is wrong with you" at Monica upon reading the last two chapters.

      LOL Yeah, I know, right? I did make Monica pretty insufferable. And even though she's portrayed more kindly on the show, I hate how she gets a pass for abandoning Blair emotionally by having Eastland raise her for her. Mrs. Garrett's attitude towards Blair in "A Friend in Deed" really sickened me. Had Monica actually been a real parent to Blair and actually done her job, then yeah, Mrs. Garrett would've been in the right. But since Monica clearly wasn't doing her job as a mother, Mrs. Garrett's message to Blair basically had undertones of, "I think your mother's abandonment of you is acceptable," which I find utterly sickening. And yeah, Mrs. Garrett's great a lot of the time, but even she needs to be put in her place too, because of how she enables these terrible parents. Anyway, thanks for reading.
