Comment on Angel on my Shoulder

  1. Well, House is actually a bit slow to catch on here - Crowley literally told him what the matter was a few chapters back! :-)
This is intriguing but I am a bit wary to continue reading because I don't have an idea where this is going - will there be a kind of happy ending for Crowley? Will Dr. House meet Aziraphale? There seems to be a lot of potential for Crowley/Aziraphale|House to team up to prevent the war, but I have no idea if this will go there or stay within the world of Dr. House.
I have severe chronic illness myself so I don't think I'd like to read a fic that ends in a dark place, e.g. where Dr. House cannot cure him or needs to respect his patient's wish to die, or where the author would be say rather anti-Aziraphale and have the fic ending with him regretting a certain demon's demise or something... So, just asking if you could give a hint on what kind of fic to expect? Thanks! :-)

I wonder if Crowley is just too depressed to care about discorporation (which would not be the best move bc it would send him back to hell), or is it his essence that's currently disintegrating? Hm...

    1. Hey, totally get that. So-

      SPOILERS

Yes this will have a happy ending and no permanent medical damage or anything like that. It is going to get a little bit worse for Crowley because that's the nature of the format of House MD. I have no intention right now of going off into a massive war fic, and if the urge grabs me later it would go into a separate fic. Aziraphale will show up later and I love that idiot to pieces so there is no 'anti-Azi' happening.

      1. Great, thank you! :-) And I don't think knowing the happy ending is too much of a spoiler for me, because it's more about the story that takes us there, right? I've actually seen other fics use "happy ending" as a tag. So I'll happily read on :-)!

        1. No worries, I agree but some people get touchy about it if the happy ending isn't the one they wanted. I have too much medical trauma for anything but 'and they all got better and had no complications' :)
