   Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed this story so far.

   Re: next chapter! I have the major plot points sketched out and I have written most of the end, but some of the transition scenes are giving me trouble. I think I have the right people talking to each other for the next scene now (after four rewrites), so hopefully I'll get that bit out by the end of the week.

   Alas, as anyone who followed me through The Red Dragon can attest, I am an adult with school-aged humans and a job that lives and breathes on a grant cycle, so May is either the month where I pull a Hamilton and write like I'm running out of time or I turn into a cave troll. Unfortunately, whichever muse or idea fairy that runs that switch is completely out of my control.
