      No explanation needed. I used to think it was ridiculous for characters to be such poor communicators but honestly? When it comes to the important stuff I can be just as bad. Sometimes it’s difficult to be honest with the people who matter most

        Yeah, I think in this one it's especially hard for them to talk because they're afraid of losing what they already have. So it is easier to take whatever you are given than risk asking for more and ending up with nothing? Which I'm sure we can ALL relate to and it's very close to canon too... which makes it even more angsty, at least for me!
