No don't worry. Since this isn't really a spoiler as I don't think it's ever going to come up in the fic, Janet just had a one night stand with a merman who was pretending to be a human through magic, just before she met Jack, but by the time Tim was born they all just thought that he was Jack's because Janet didn't know of her pregnancy until she was with him.
