Comment on Star crossed lovers (doesn’t mean what you think it does)

  1. I was never the type to write the same scenario in a different pov and there are two major reasons for this.
One, too much work to not move the plot forward. Two, might have repeated phrases and other stuff that make reading it a bit boring and redundant.
Your writing is excellent in the way it avoids these two problems. For the first, you elaborated on the original scene without changing it much, just altering the PoV and inner thoughts of the scene, and it helped establish the relationship between the two main characters of this fic. For the second, you avoided using most of the same dialogue instead describing what the characters say and adding a little ending there that wasn’t present originally, so it feels like a new, wonderful chapter instead of reading one simply written in a different style or by a different person, so I tip my hat to you, and I say bravo.
You say it didn’t turn out to be as good as you hoped, and I sincerely wish that truly is the case, since this writing is already of quite the high quality, and if you can picture something even better, I can clearly sense great potential that is just there, waiting. I look forward to whatever you may write in the future, and I will drink to your continued success.
I have drunk a total of 3 glasses of red wine and 2 cups of strong scotch today at the wedding of my father’s friend, so I dedicate this liver failure to you.
