That is the one thing that bothered me about this scene, it's an iconic masterpiece but it always bothered me how Obi-wan was so easily able to say "I loved you". I know what it's like to feel for someone who is far from a good person and no matter how much I wish I could hate them I will always love them. Because love should be unconditional and sometimes that means loving someone even if you wish you didn't.
Anakin was like a brother to Obi-wan?? Then how come you only loved him? You don't love him anymore. The love was conditional and that signifies one of the major downfalls of the Jedi in the first place.
