Damn, i really like the idea of John trying to somehow repair everything that he did but its going in wrong direction. I guess the whole premise of this could be "Let him go", but If John do it, i have no idea how. I am trying to guess how does John build the illusion - is it either his own interpretations, or Arthur memory? Like how does he think Parker would act in specific situations? Because I can believe Noel is rather his own interpretations but who knows.
It just came to me in the middle of wiritng: the best definition for this fick is John doing DnD session for one person.

The mental image of John trying to run this like a DnD campaign is fucking hilarious, thank you for that. :) As for how he builds the illusions, this will get slowly explained over the next few chapters!
