    Longtail is one of the best cats ever and no one can change my mind.

    I feel like the Erins realized he was still a slightly important background character, so they were like "oh no! A fan favorite! Now we need to find a way to make him more of a background character because we're too lazy to give him more depth!"

    Runningwind is also still alive, but sadly fate is inescapable :3
