    I like the story; the differences are noticeable, and that's fine.

    I never liked how Gandalf, by slightly tricking the hobbit, lures the dwarves into his house to become their thief. Although the dwarves already thought the hobbit would accompany them on the quest, he fooled them all with his tricks. For that, he should have received some kind of reprimand given everything that was going on.

    I like that Briella wants to get along with the dwarves and learn their ways, although the dwarves should also learn the hobbits' ways to avoid misunderstandings.

    As for the trolls, I'm glad they came to help her, but they didn't say anything about the problem with those beasts. As for the elves, I liked that she told them to their faces how stupid they were being.
