Omg are you a biologist/ecologist? I may have some questions for you, for later parts of this fic haha.
A huge emotional core of this fic for me is, fathers and father figures. Fingolfin is going to be a huge part of the next chunk of the fic, starting with chapter 4.
And yes - Fingon is just so important to me, it's been a little tricky figuring out his role exactly as I'm hammering out all the details of who pursues what science and what tracks with everyone's character traits as established by the source material. But the headstrong dork with a guitar and a heart of gold will be featuring prominently in the future, don't worry haha.... well, maybe eventually start to worry. You'll see.
