    Yeah, these first 3 could almost be going backwards... but I'd hope not, because that's so sad. :( Hopefully there'll be some comforting ones down the line...

      Because Spock is all hopeful he will have a lover that's great and someone who appreciates him like his dad doesn't. THEN Kirk and bones break up D: and then Spock and Kirk aren't happy DD:

      On the other hand, I also really like this idea because everyone is sad. And not everything is happy. So it's interesting to see the sad versus always a happy ending.

          Yes, I hate for Spock and Jim to be unhappy with each other and regret being together. And, yes, I absolutely read Chapters 2 and 3 as flashbacks. Though I do hope that they will work things out with time in Chapter 1.

          I appreciate Chapter 5 for it even more. That Jim is judged but neither of them is unhappy with each other, that is a big relief.
