    The very first line had me nodding in agreement and before I knew it, I already liked this fic. It sort of fits with the theme of the mutagens and schemes—messing with nature creates more problems even if it seems to solve some.

    Poor Leo. He may be the leader, but the four of them are still brothers, after all. They’re not always going to listen to each other even when they really should.

    The warehouse headquarters battle was EPIC and I loved it so much! It was so dynamic and had action to rival Die Hard. I liked seeing Leatherhead too!

    Rachell’s backstory was so sad, and I know there’s get to be even more to it she’s not saying yet. The Shredder files are also so ominous, and the idea of a mind-controlled mutant army is terrifying. At least the mission was a big success! I know the TMNT considered it only fairly successful, but they defeated a whole legion of alien robots, freed all the missing mutants, made a new ally and blew up the headquarters! Not to mention making a big enough amount of damage so Shredder has to start his evil army all over again. That’s a total victory to me!

    And the ominous scene at the end… Rachell isn’t the only one on the hunt for revenge.

    I read a later chapter at one point and really enjoyed it. It was cool to get to the very beginning and see where it all started. Awesome work on the action scenes, and I’m really excited about this story! Keep it up!

      Leo may be the leader, and even a good one, but most times, he’s just their dorky, goodie-two-shoes brother to the others, lmao. They are going to listen sometimes, but definitely not all the times.

      I’m stoked that you like the action and fighting, it’s honestly the hardest part for me to write, so I’m so relieved.
      I’m also glad that you still wanted to take your time and read this chapter after you have read the “coming out” chapter. It makes me so happy that you are back :)
