Bella woke up with the energy of "not today vampire" and I loved it!! Good for her! She handled him in the best way possible... no dramatics...no crying...and best of all not falling all over him in gratitude for coming back!! Just simple and to the point indifference! Turning the table on him with "I had been trying to find a way to do it myself" was genius!
Then there's Edward as always being about as sharp as a marble with his "I'm A good liar Bella, I have to be" straight to "how could you believe the lie"!🤦

LOL, yep that is Edward alright. For a hundred plus year old vampire he's pretty stupid! ;)
