  1. I really like Aeacus and his backstory. :-) I've always loved minotaurs, and as a DM, I have an NPC that I play rather often who is a minotaur. I like the idea of his military past and the tragic battle. :-)

      Given how often it seems to come up in my writing, looking back, I seem to really like the idea of a character’s reputation and their relation to it. In this case, a bad reputation. A persona non grata trying to start over. I like imagining how NPCs might treat him, or the party as a whole, differently by their association with him, and ways that that could lead to natural exposition between characters. Sharing backstory and making connections.

      1. Yes, reputation (especially a bad one XD) is often a good way to advance the story and an exciting element for character development. I can imagine that would work very well with Aeacus. :-)
