Comment on Saving Playtime.

  1. I admit that I followed your stories about The Loud House, the one with spells and Loude on fanfiction.net, and the one about the relationship between Lincoln and Jordan before I stopped liking them because I was no longer passionate about The Loud House.

I like that you started playing Poppy Playtime. I've been playing this game since the beginning, expert at terrors, plus or minus a few that came true. And yes, I admit I trust Poppy, and Poppy is my favorite character besides Kissy, who is second because I know you may not trust her, but I found potential reasons why she behaved that way in three fairly long paragraphs.

Poppy. She hasn't betrayed or abandoned us. Let's not forget that she, like the others, is just a child. Who is trapped in the exact same nightmare. Just like the others. I analyzed them. Poppy's behavior and emotional states between chapters 2-4. Because in chapter 1. She didn't play much of a role in chapter 2. In the beginning. Poppy was cheerful, innocent, and glad to be released from her case at the end of chapter 2. Dull and cold, and it was also normal to pick me up after Mommy had kidnapped her and lined her with cobwebs all around. Chapter 3. In the beginning, after we reunite with Poppy and Kissy after exiting Home Sweet Home, Poppy is determined and has a tiny glimmer of hope, hoping that we will defeat The Prototype. At the end of Chapter 3. Poppy was quite traumatized by the events that happened in The Hour Of Joy. The screams of the massacred find burned into her mind. In Chapter 4. At the beginning. Disoriented, confused, and a tiny hint of disbelief and anxiety. After taking Omni-hand. Poppy hopes we'll be able to defeat the Prototype. I would at the end of Chapter 4. Overwhelmed by his failures. In one word. PUT PURELY ANGRY this could be read on Poppy's face. Disoriented, confused, scared of what might happen. And yes, Poppy has a weakness that the Prototype has abused to the extreme. Poppy can't handle stress. If indeed it is confirmed that Kissy Missy at the end of chapter 3 was attacked by Prototype.

The Prototype was supposed to loosen Poppy up to catch her easily off guard. You can see that when the elevator goes up and Kissy screams, Poppy can't handle the situation. And naturally, in stressful situations, you can't think rationally and make rash decisions. Not coping with the stress, Poppy made some rash decisions. Here I could also come up with some arguments and two reasons why Poppy left Safe Haven. After Yarnaby's death, when we get to the room before we reunite with Doey, there is a VSH tape where Hoppy Hopscotch brings some injured toys back to Safe Haven. It is possible that in that stressful situation, Poppy did not cope and ran away. Or, knowing that the Prototype is becoming more and more threatening and obsessed with Poppy, she may have chosen to leave Safe Haven to protect her friends.

We don't know anything about Prototype's past life, except for a few things from the VSH tape, but the point is that the people who support Prototype, about whom we know nothing except a little, also believe that Poppy betrayed us or has bad intentions, support the bad side of the game, and that stems from their frustrations that chapter 4 didn't turn out right, that Poppy Li seems to be doing something wrong, that Mob didn't put any character into the game, or the 29 seconds at Pianosaurus. The point is this.

Some believe that Poppy betrayed us or that she has bad intentions, but people are not paying attention to her morale, her psyche, and some bad things that happened, and as in Sawyer's case, they can justify her actions in the game.

Poppy was subjected to unimaginable stress, suffering, and other states of sadness and pain when scientists repeatedly opened her up, plus she had no one to talk to except Olie aka Prototype, who wasn't there as a real person to understand her, but only as a potential conversation partner.

So these constant states suffered by Poppy in the past and any other emotional torture she was subjected to made her make some rash decisions in certain situations. However, we can see on her face that she has no bad intentions, including that lack of confidence that most likely makes her hide things from us, because she is a child at heart, and children sometimes make mistakes and can choose the wrong path if they are not understood, as in Poppy's case.

Plus, at the end of chapter 4, Poppy reached her breaking point, after holding out for four chapters with her spirits high so as not to give in, but we all have a breaking point at some point.

So yes, those would be the reasons. You know the saying, "hasty decisions come from the heart."
