      The writing was truly exquisite and I think this story deserves a thousand more kudos than it does.

      I'd like to highlight the scene that made it 'click' for me. I loved that the scenes were quiet in movement but loud in its impact on the characters. Peter in chapter 5 coming to an uncertain breakthrough while watching Polly perform a fairly mundane task? Ugh, chefs kiss, I was completely sold on their dynamic from that point onward.

      "Didn’t trust the fact that she was the first person to say his name and mean it in what felt like forever. So he just stood there. Shaking. Watching her make tea like it was the most ordinary thing in the world.
      And for the first time in a long time, something in him cracked.  <3 <3
