It's more paltry from Homura's perspective. She didn't break at all and used it as fuel to double her resolve, but the mere truth shatters both Sayaka and Mami, in the former case, someone she repeatedly warns from the top of her lungs only to have it thrown back in her face solely to a misplaced soul, and Mami almost killed her. For her, they are insanely fragile and naive, and believe QB above her until it becomes incontrovertable and in a loop, that breeds plenty of resentment. Even moreso since their follies lure Madoka to peridition.
There is literally no way Homura views the truth as "paltry." The ONLY reason Homura didn't immediately crumble into a ball and drown in her despair was because of her mission. That ability to put things in a box and keep moving is the only reason Homura could keep going. The INSTANT she thought she was doing more harm than good and her reason for looping died, she downward spiraled almost instantly. The only thing about Homura that is special is her nigh-unbreakable will, I think she knows this. She 100% views Mami and Sayaka as weak, but I also think she's wrong.
