    genuinely one of the best fics I've ever read, like period. you have this way of writing, that cuts straight through to the heart, that has beautiful prose but is just so snappy. your Aubrey is a force to be reckoned with, angry with teenage rage and with grief. and Basil is such a force, too, flinching in the face of others but still standing. this fic plays with the both of them so well and I'm just. so many lines had me gasping like LMFAOOO NO WAY and literally felt like they were cutting right through me in the best way possible. what an amazing fic, and thank you so much for sharing this!!!

      playing around with aubrey and basils characters and their relationship is like. So fun and self-indulgent for me right now and i’m thrilled that it was also fun to read. i’m basically just constantly having thoughts about them and putting it all directly onto the page so im glad it makes sense and is enjoyable. i love them a lot. ty for reading!!
