    Hoshino-specific failure is that her combat prowess can't help her, even when she winning every fight (she lost only to Hina, after a day of non-stop fighting).

    Did they send literally more gangers than FTF had ammo? Not impossible, but certainly a commitment.

    Admittedly i did not think of that, but on first glance that would require them being only ammo supplier in the area. But then, in Abydos all firearm-related business is incredibly scarce if your customer base is 5 people at most, and some gangers that you may to want to deal with, so no reason for any independent shop to carry ammo, and with land owned by Kaiser no reason for other chains, like Angel24 to be there.
    Still, traveling on train to actual civilization should be faster than scavenging - and also would provide point of contact with Sensei and co, if they notice students with IDs at station. On the other hand, this is reasonable blind spot to have due to their biases.

      Yep they besieged Abydos far more often than in canon until they were low and then a huge contingent came in that overwhelmed their ammo supply. They ran out of everything but especially their medical supplies which is when things hit critical point. Hoshino couldn’t be everywhere at once.

      Yeah at least in this canon Kaiser is ironically the supplier of most ammo in the area being one more way they are sucking the land and school dry. All cash they raise somehow goes back into Kaisers pockets.
      And yeah it’s totally reasonable to go to Trinity. We know Nonomi does for stuff from her bond stories. So. But right now they are just so shell shocked they aren’t thinking straight and Shiroko especially just wants to do something. Anything. Can’t sit still in crisis.

      Each of the girls were considering their own solution to the crisis when Sensei arrived. Ayane praying that Sensei would answer. Hoshino considering a night one woman assault grabbing her tactical gear. Nonomi wondering whether she should override Hoshino and call on her family. Shiroko scavenging like she did before coming to Abydos. And Serika…….. honestly Serika was utterly at a loss. No germanium bracelets helping this one.
