    This is the original timeline from the very start of the saga (as the chapter notes say ;p)

    I guess after chapter 2 and especially 3, it would be more obvious, since some things would simply be different. Nick and Finnick would know Judy already, Judy would have grown up with a father who doesn’t get bullied anymore, amongst other things. I'm not gonna say more to avoid spoiling too much of the ending of not just part 1, but also the series as a whole ;p

    The version of this bonus story from the timeline that we are gonna be in at the end of part 3 is written from Nick’s POV. Judy still just meets a funky fox scientist she initially knows nothing about. I think Nick’s internal monologue, as well as his conversations with Finnick, are far more interesting than a simple repeat with slight differences. (I say this as if the main parts of this whole project aren’t just a simple repeat of BTTF with slight differences lol)

      Yeah but I like BTTF and you are not breaking anything that I've seen so far. So I'm enjoying this version of the story, despite knowing roughly how things will progress because of my knowledge of BTTF, thus it's become my meal time reading story of choice when a chapter is available.

      Oh and sorry I missed the fact you said this was the original timeline for this chapter, I think I was getting something out of the microwave while the opening credits were rolling (author notes were being read by my computer) so may not have taken it in properly. I recall you saying it was their first meeting, but first meeting in a time travel story can be relative. But thanks for the answer it's made it clear for me. :)

        Wooooot! A meal time reading story of choice? Now that’s an achievement I never thought I’d get.

        And there’s no need to apologise for missing details. When proofreading something after writing or editing a section, I often get distracted and miss entire paragraphs and gotta go back a couple of times until I comprehend what I’ve just written xD
