    they !!!!!! got to reunite !!! ahhhhh !! and baby leia i am so looking forward to the feels of her calling him daddy to his face god he deserves everything <3
    god the way fox is dealing with things.. he is so scared to hope that he almost subconsciously forces himself into denial.. he can't even think of his greatest hopes (them all being alive and together) because he can't imagine it ever being true .. he has lived over a decade constantly near a person who could (and probably did) read his mind to torture him by making sure he knew every time His People were hurt. say it with me C P T S D. i love him so much his trauma has trauma <3 i can't even begin to imagine how he would begin to heal from this..
    also i am incredibly looking forward to seeing more of sabé's reactions.. yes for all we know she might have idk very good therapists and coping mechanisms but even the most well-adjusted well-prepared person cannot remain untraumatised by the whole . genocidal fascist takeover massacre event, not to mention she's a person of interest(i'd think) to the new dictatorial regime . never mind that she didn't know what was going on with fox, never mind how helpless she must have felt knowing she couldn't do anything to help him wherever he was even if she knew. and raising leia as a single parent but with a flock of people who look exactly like the one person she wants most and can't have and then her child starts talking about your lover in the present tense . also in case this wasn't enough for her poor psyche her daughter is the child of her would-literally-die-for-her sister who is dead because sabé couldn't convince her not to do it . god.

      Them starting to deal with their trauma actually happens in one of the next chapters! (Either next week's or the week after, I cant remember). And it's something that doesnt go away throughout the rest of the story, since real trauma doesnt, so it's like Palpatine and his Empire are ghosts that constantly follow Fox and Sabe around.

      And just wait for baby Leia. It's so adorable, I can't believe I wrote something so cute.
