    I reeeeally thought about waiting for chapters to build up a bit, since I wanted to binge it as hard as I could. Obviously, I am impatient.

    I’ve only read 3 of the kidnapped!Gohan fics, and I’ve only liked one of them—and while it was good, I wished it had included more character dynamics and scenarios. All that being said, when I saw that you were authoring your version, and realizing you also wrote “Responsibility,” well I’m over the moon.

    Investigative Brainy Videl is a guilty pleasure of mine, and I’m so glad you’ve kickstarted the fix with that. Considering how Videl was originally portrayed as competent and street smart, her character was wasted on DBS and I’ll never not be upset. Kinda sort same with Erasa. I think both girls have such a neat dynamic, and their friendship is only briefly displayed in the anime. So I’m excited to see some friendship in this DBZ fic. :3

    I was cringing thinking of the interaction between Roshi and Videl—I mean, there’s a storm a’brewing that Roshi’s…Roshi-ness. Do I want to see Videl destroy that man? Absolutely. Do I like this other direction with probably-Gohan and Krillin’s sudden appearance? Yeeeessssss!

    As always, love how expressive your writing is. At first I was questioning Videl’s decision to go closer to the MysteriousSpacePod(Tm)—like c’mon, Videl! You’re smarter than that! But then I realize Videl tends to overconfidence, she’s always portrayed as prioritizing people’s safety, and also, who doesn’t love a good mystery???

    Good strong start to this story!
