    I would like to think Sonic would be polygamous since he doesn't like being tied down, but the fact of the matter would be he's very opposed to Sly's way of thinking and believes that he needs to be stopped. However, Sly would counter that he doesn't have the grit to see things through to the end when it comes to the greater good.

      Cue Sonic's fanbase backing Sonic up to challenge Sly on that. And imagine if Sly forces Sonic to fight him in an attempt to beat his beliefs into Sonic to prove his point...only to find out Sonic can go toe to toe with him, much to the Gang's surprise.

          Sonic would probably reveal something like "Just because you went through tragedy doesn't mean you look down on other people trying to do the right thing. I lost my family too but you don't see me mad at the world!" And he proceeds to tire Sly out.

            And Sly would respond that he doesn’t care what Sonic thinks and that he’s a survivor. He fought back against the world, followed his own set of rules, and he took back his own life!

                  I feel like Sonic would leave the fight before it gets too bloody. Sly's pride won't allow him to stop, especially when he starts getting tired (unlike Sonic who has endless stamina), so Sonic will force it to end by blindsiding Sly with a spin dash and then Chaos Control away while Sly is still regaining his bearings. This will reveal that Sonic has real superpowers, much to the gang's shock.

                          Sonic will give the Gang a moment to process what the hell they just saw. They then will realize he's not from their world. His superpowers, his unwavering heroics, his morally sound personality...none of it matches most of the people of their world, so he's definitely foreign. Hell, maybe even an alien if that's possible!

                              It would be hilarious if Sonic tied them up with chains (he's aware of Sly's canes) using his speed and nobody noticed until they feel they can't get up, which leaves them open to becoming surrounded by police. It's a good display of his mischievous side.
