      OH MY GOD YES.

      Me and my co author really try to capture that in this fic a lot in Steve's chapters about how much the time change genuinely startled him, because so much stuff was cut from the movies omf😭

        But if I had to be honest it's probably both, I don't think Steve ever really got used to the attention that the serem gave him, as well as him being very traditional in the 40s sense of "hey I got you flowers ...wanna go on a walk with me?"

        There's so much more I want to dive in with for his character oh my god

          Yeah totally! Thankfully we have like eight chapters (counting prologue)already and we're about halfway through the next chapter too!
