   Good question!
   Since I’m sure that Bruce isn’t the first person traumatized by demons to later be infected by a demon, I’m not entirely sure what makes him different than anyone else (just like we don’t know what makes Nezuko able to suppress her hunger right after being turned when so many other good, loving people were unable to do the same).
   What I think is that it’s a combination of Bruce’s incredible resolve (stemming from watching his mother die) and getting such a small amount of demon blood in him just as the sun was rising.
