      I've been working on chapter two today so hopefully should have it up within the next two. I'm just annoyingly fighting off a cold that turned up last night (which is killing my throat) so if it takes a little longer that's why.

      It's almost tempting to try and record all Aake's dialogue while I can get to the lower octaves easily. ;) And Zuko sounds extra scratchy at the minute. :D

   oh this first chapter is amazing! you have a really nice voice and I love being able to listen to one of my favorite fics while working on other stuff

   I really like the background noises you added, kind of like creaking wood and ocean waves? And I adore that you do different voices too! not too many people bother, but you're really talented! lower octaves are pretty hard to hit, but I think you're doing a really great job with it so far. And my god I cant believe I haven't even mentioned just the *way* you read too! You put the right emphasis on the right words and damn if that doesn't make zukos inner monologue that much more heart wrenching ahhHH

   really really looking forward to the next few chapters! (and for muffinlance updates of course!)

      Hee! Thank you! You've no idea how big a smile you put on my face. Like seriously I went around the house grinning like a loon.

      I'm surprised (and a bit gobsmacked tbh) that people don't do voices as standard, I mean most audiobook's have voices as standard and I've always viewed podfic's as just fanfic audio books. It's why I've tried to use background noises rather than music for ambiance.

      Chapter two should be up shortly, I'm just doing a final listen through before hitting the upload button. (Hee! That's one of the reason's I started doing these, I wanted to be able to listen to Salvage in between Muffinlance's updates. ;) ).

       Thank you!!! I'm glad you're enjoying it. :)

       I think everyone's head voice is going to be different. Heck just recording this, the perfectionist in me keeps going "it's not right, it's not right" because of head voice vs real voice. But I think that sometimes that's what makes it better or at least more interesting. There will be things that you'll notice on a vocalised read through that you'd never notice when simply reading, it makes it fun! (At least from my perspective).

       Not a stupid question at all I've had a couple of people ask. :)

       If you click on the "building" it'll take you to archive.org and you can download from there. I think I've set them up so once downloaded they'll work as an album as well.

    OMG! This is Amazing! I didn't even know AO3 could let someone do this! I love The Two Princes on Spotify! This story (IMO) is so much better! Honestly, you and MuffinLance should team up and release these on Spotify somehow! I'd follow this podcast in a heartbeat!

    Also, your narration is amazing! I love the sound effects to help guide the reader through being on Hakoda's ship and being in the ocean! Brilliant!

    Thank you for this. It was very well done. Now whenever I read Zuko being scared and confused, it's in your voice and it fits so well. Especially when he thinks about rules.

    Your voice is better than the inner one I had, so you've improved all my Zuko fics.
