Chapter 1: A delightful meeting
Chapter Text
Tommy wasn’t sure when he started to ignore everyone, deciding to stay inside his home more than going outside, the only reason he did get out was to get wool and food.
His only company being the little spider hybrid he adopted a few weeks ago.
He knits and sews almost every day with what wool and fabric he can get. He makes himself and his son clothes with them, loving to see Shroud so happy wearing them.
Tommy ignores how some of the clothes are too big to fit him.
The young blond also likes to bake, sometimes making carrot cakes or blackberry cupcakes. Adoring seeing the spider hybrid eat them with delight.
It reminds him of older times, times when he could simply walk around without being afraid of someone hurting him.
Back in a time when friendships weren’t broken.
This is how the days go. Knitting and sewing while sitting in his rocking chair, his son playing around with his toys. Baking while the spider hybrid clings to his side, making the blond boy scent him, Shroud’s milk and cotton scent(a scent normally pups had) became faintly present while he smelled more like sweet vanilla, just like his dad.
And most of all, ignoring the knocks on his door and the constant buzzing noise of his communicator, as much as he would love to answer, he can’t bring himself to. His hands shake every time he grabs his comm or the door handle. One time he almost dropped his communicator.
– ☢ –
It was a nice day, with the sun being as bright as ever, the clouds trying to cover it but failing at doing that and the wind moving gently.
Tommy was walking in a forest, collecting berries and some other fruits, and some flowers, because he needed them to make dye for his clothes.
It was relaxing in some way, picking the flowers and food, while also hearing the sounds of the animals, wolves howling with each other and birds chirping, and even sometimes some deer walking around.
It was supposed to be a peaceful walk, and it was!. Until the smell of ink filled his senses, making him stop in his stracks. He recognizes that scent, the same scent that covered the books that were sent to him in exile, the same scent some flowers around his house faintly had after came home from death.
Ranboo, his mind says to him. And while his instincts are screaming for him to go and hug the tallboy they see as fluffe, his human mind yells for him to hide, fearing how the enderman hybrid would react to seeing him after so many weeks of no contact with each other.
But he can’t move, his body frozen in place as he hears the sound of footsteps get closer and closer, and that scent becomes less faint as the seconds passes.
And soon, the half n’ half boy appears in front of him, a relaxed expression painted in his face. He’s wearing his usual suit, but with the addition of some pale purple scarf around his neck, it looks messy, like it was made by someone without any experience at all.
But Ranboo’s relaxed face changes into a surprised one after seeing him and smelling the vanilla in the air. He stares directly into Tommy’s eyes and soul, something that makes his omega side melt, adoring the attention. Something that makes his most logical side scream in fear.
“Tommy?.” The older says, his tone sounded surprised, with little bits of worry and joy in there as well.
The omega can’t bring himself to talk back, his lips glued together as he shakes like a leaf.
The taller boy moves closer, taking careful and slow steps as he approaches Tommy. As he comes closer to the bunny hybrid, he is remined of how fucking tall Ranboo is. He hates him, never liked the guy at all.
“Tommy? Oh God, it's you.” He whispers, a little gasp escaping him at the end of his sentence. “You have no idea how worried we were!.” Ranboo literally yells a second after, running faster than the blond has ever seen the dual colored boy ever do and grabs him in a hug and lifts him to the air, his feet no longer touching the ground and not even near it.
The alpha holds him closely and tightly, nuzzling his cheek against his golden hair, making a mess out of it. It's too weird. Having become used to only receiving hugs from his son from the time he had been ignoring everyone, used to how the kid was shorter than him.
He really wanted to enjoy being taller than someone else for one time.
“Oh God! You don’t know how scared we were!.” The older continues talking, saying things like how scared he was or how mad Tubbo was acting lately.
“Ra-Ranboo.” The blond boy finds himself talking, his lips finally being capable of opening so the words could come out. And he can’t stop himself before stuttering, his voice sounding nervous.
The half enderman at first doesn’t hear him, still rambling about things, mentioning some name he doesn’t recognize as he talks his head off. But when he repeats what he said, this time louder, the taller hybrid stops his ramblings, now looking directly at Tommy’s eyes.
And, damn, he wasn’t prepared for this. In Ranboo’s eyes are tears, threatening to fall and possibly burn the older boy’s skin.
“Put me down please.” The bunny hybrid whispered with a slightly pleading tone, avoiding looking into the heterochromatic eyes of his friend.
The alpha listened to his nervous command, putting the omega down with gentleness, trying hard to not hurt the smaller boy. And even if he would never admit it, he was kind of grateful for that.
“Sorry,” Ranboo said with a gentle voice, a sheepish smile on his face as he looked down at the younger one, fidgeting with his clawed fingers.
– ☢ –
Ranboo’s hands shake, his instincts scream at him to hold the younger boy and never let him go, to protect him from everything and everyone, but he doesn’t, he fights them every time they make themselves present, saying to himself how he would only scare the omega more.
He tries to start a conversation, but the blond boy ignores him, instead deciding to pick even more little fruits and flowers. And even if it hurts him how the bunny obviously doesn’t want him near, he can’t stop himself from cooing internally when the shorter one brightens every time he sees a flower.
He eyes the bunny hybrid, noticing how his hair has gotten longer, almost reaching past his shoulders, it seems well brushed.
“How have you been, Tommy?.” He tries yet again to start a conversation, playing with his fingers.
“Been good, doing my own things at home.” The other answers simply, not spearing the older a glance as he picked a daisy from the grass.
“Good, good.” The alpha’s tone was awdard, not knowing how to continue this, his blond bun not being of any help with his short answers.
The two walked and walked, and soon, the once bright blue sky was turning into a mix of orange and red.
Ranboo offered to accompany the shorter one to his home, not saying how he didn’t trusted the bunny hybrid to not get hurt on his way. Tommy tried to deny the help, saying how much of a big man he was, and how he could go to his own home without anyone to watch his back.
“Oh, come on. Let me go with you Toms .” The half enderman said in a deeper voice than usual, his tone sounding casual, with a slight hint of demand in there.
When Ranboo talked, something in his brain snapped and his mind became fuzzy, his omega side taking over him the moment a little ‘Okay’ escaped from his lips without his permission.
The half n’ half boy smirked, his long tail wrapping itself around Tommy’s waist as he dragged the omega toward where his hobbit house was.
Chapter 2: A not so sweet welcome
Summary:
Tommy and Ranboo walk together.
Tubbo is not the best guy.
Notes:
Warning: Tubbo is kind of toxic, ngl.
Chapter Text
Ranboo didn’t take his tail off of Tommy while they were walking. He knew the reason for this, he knew how his instincts felt better this way, with being able to pull the little blond closer every time he sensed danger, and the fact his alpha side was literally purring at the fact that the missing part of his pack was back with him.
But while Ranboo felt delighted of having the blond bunny so close, Tommy felt suffocated. He never felt this way before, well, maybe with Dream, but even the older man hugs and cuddles were less sofocating than this.
He tried to take the enderman’s tail away from his waist, but that only made it tightened around him even more. Ranboo also gave him a serious stare, making his instincts sad, yelling at him for even thinking of taking his protector’s tail away.
Fucking instincts, who needs them anyway?. Also fuck Ranboo, fucking bastard who thinks he’s so much better just because he’s stronger and an alpha. Idiot.
As the bunny hybrid was curing the half n’ half boy in his mind, the scent of ink became stronger, making his brain become fuzzy, the only thing in his head the so calming smell of a member of his fluffe.
Ranboo smirked when he saw the little bunny lean more into him, his alpha brain cheering and celebrating how he was still able to make the younger one feel safe around him even after so many weeks of not being with each other.
Soon, they reached the house of the blond teen. Just when the stars were showing themselves in the dark sky of the night and the groans of mobs could be heard in the distance.
Tommy went to open the door, but Ranboo was quicker than him, grabbing the doorknob and opening it, stepping aside to let the omega go inside. Tommy growled quietly at that, cursing the older boy even more.
Ranboo giggled at that, finding the action adorable, while the blond just cursed him even more.
Both of them stepped inside, the alpha closing the door while the bunny put down the basket on the floor in a gentle way.
“Wow, your house…. It's so different.” Ranboo said, watching every single change on the place, how there were drawings on the walls that looked like they were made by a kid, flower plots were practically everywhere, adorning the place and making it look so colorful.
Before the blue eyed teen could respond to the older boy, tiny loud footsteps were heard by them, along with loud giggling. And soon, someone hugged the omega’s legs as they stopped running.
“Mommy!.” The kid screamed, his six bright red eyes staring back into Tommy’s own baby blue ones, a big smile on his face.
“Darling.” Tommy’s tone of voice changed drastically, becoming more gentle and soft as he kneeled down on the floor as he let the spider hybrid hug tightly his chest with his short arms.
“Why did you take so long?.” Asked the young kid, curiosity was clear in his voice and face.
“I had to take care of some business hun.” He responded with a gentle voice, staring at the half enderman from the corner of his eyes, the intention clear as the water.
–♕–
Tubbo sat on a chair beside a little bed, eyeing the zombie piglin resting on it. His face didn’t let any expression show up.
Sometimes, his gaze could move and he could stare at the window of the room, watching the trees in case Ranboo decided it was finally time to show up.
“Papa.” A little voice came from the bed, making him snap out of his thoughts.
“Yes Michael?.” Tubbo asked, his voice monotone as he stared at his son.
“Where’s Dada?.” The younger’s voice was filled with curiosity, his head tilted to the side as he watched the goat hybrid, waiting for an answer.
That was also something Tubbo was asking himself, his patience running short as he waited more time for the enderman hybrid to come. As he thought of an answer to give the little piglin, he watched the kid, getting lost in the doe-like eyes of the kid, that reminded him too much of the eyes of a blond teen.
“He’s surely with that green crow man you saw last week hun.” The brown haired boy said, waving a dismissing hand as he avoided looking at his son.
Something that the older didn’t notice was the slightly sad look and pout on the kid’s face. Michael hated when his papa was like this, he usually was caring towards him, but lately he had been more distant, a thing that made the pink boy's heart ache.
“You should sleep honey, it's getting late,” The goat said, getting up from the chair he was in, moving closer to his kid to give him a kiss on the forehead and pulling the blanket closer to his body. “I’m sure Dad is going to be home soon.” He added, walking away from the little piglin and closer to the door of the room.
As he opens the door and steps outside, he hears something similar to a ‘goodnight’, and lets a little grin show in his face, even if he’s aware his kid cannot see him, having his back turned to him.
He closes the door behind him, and as he does, his smile falls out of his face, an angry expression over taking his usual neutral face.
“Where the fuck is that bitch?” The brunet asked himself, moving towards the stairs and walking down, going to the living room of the mansion.
As Tubbo bets there, he sits down on the dull yellow couch of their home, his arms resting on his legs as he waits for his husband.
He doesn’t think of heating up the food he made a few hours ago for the half enderman. Not only because that stupid tall guy needs some kind of punishment for staying out so late at night, but also because the food is already horrible, both of them are terrible at cooking and it shows everyday.
This is why they usually ask Niki for food, she’s amazing at it. Her food doesn’t taste like burnt dirt.
–♕–
Ranboo felt like he was sweating, even if it was practically impossible for him. He had gotten distracted talking with Tommy, losing track of time.
Now, he’s in front of the big doors of the mansion, accommodated to fit his height. He’ll never admit it, but he’s scared, he has seen Tubbo angry before and it's not pretty, the younger hybrid doesn’t seem to be able to control his emotions when he’s mad.
And Ranboo tried to help before, but the bee lover has always denied it, saying how it wasn’t much of a problem or how he didn’t need help.
It makes the older alpha angry as well, wanting to help one of his pack members.
The dual colored boy enters the house, closing the doors slowly behind him.
And that when Ranboo knows he’s screwed. When he sees Tubbo sitting on their couch, arms crossed and an angry expression painted on his face. It makes the half n’ half boy shrink on himself, one of his hands rubbing his arm.
“Hell-”
“Where the fuck you were?!.”
Chapter 3: There is no lie about this
Summary:
Tubbo doesn’t want liars in his house and Ranboo knows that.
Chapter Text
Tommy watches Ranboo leave, walking at a fast speed. A sigh escaped from his lips, and he turned around, fidgeting with his fingers as he moved towards his son’s room.
He opened the door a little bit, just enough to be able to peck inside the room and see the sleeping form of the young pup. A smile took place on his face.
The omega closed the door slowly, not wanting to make so much noise. After doing that, he walked to his room with quiet footsteps, moving to where his room was.
As he walked, he started to think of how the day went, from just collecting flowers and fruits, to talking and walking home with Ranboo. It surely didn’t go like he planned to.
But, what could he do? Ranboo did seem like he liked to be with him, and the sadness he showed seemed real.
The blond bunny sighed again, opening the door of his room and closing it behind him. He needed to get some sleep for tomorrow so he could knit all day and maybe take Shroud to see around.
–❀–
Tommy hummed, walking while holding Shroud’s hand gently. The kid was pointing to everything he saw, being in awe at the sight of the tall trees of the forest and loving how some birds rested on his head, fingers and shoulders.
It was a cute sight for Tommy. His son hadn’t been in the forest many times, thanks to his fear of being hurt, but it seemed that nowadays people didn’t really come by his home and the way to the forest was clear of any person.
It was then, while sitting near a river, that the little spider kid decided to talk.
“Mommy, who was that guy?.”
The omega becomes still at that for a few seconds, before clearing his throat and beginning to talk.
“Well, he was, or is, a friend. We haven’t talked in a long time so he was pretty eager to see me, I guess.” The blond responded, fidgeting with his fingers as he avoided looking at his son, instead looking at the fishes swimming in the water.
“He’s weird!.” The black haired boy said loudly. “He doesn’t smell like you.” He added, now looking directly into baby blue eyes.
“Weird how honey?.” Tommy asked, confusion leaking into his tone as he tilted his head slightly to the side.
“Your smell is sweet and gentle, and his is strong and not gentle.” The child said with a serious tone, crossing his arms, a pout forming on his face.
A little laugh escaped Tommy’s lips, making the young boy pout even more. The older one reached his hand out and cupped the pup cheek with gentleness.
“Darling, of course he’s gonna have a different scent. He’s an alpha, I'm an omega.” He explained easily and without much detail.
The little boy didn’t understand much, but he remembers his mom telling him about those things, how omegas tend to have sweet and gentle scents while alphas have stronger ones.
“Yeah, I remember.” Shroud muttered, now watching the fishes go around.
–❀–
“You thought staying out this late was safe?! Are you stupid or something?!.” The goat hybrid yelled. Anger was filling his entire body, no other emotion than that visible on him.
Ranboo started shaking slightly, barely noticeable if you weren’t paying attention, he never liked it when Tubbo was angry.
The younger one continued to yell how much of an idiot Ranboo was, how he wasn’t responsible or how Tubbo couldn't trust him to simply do a single thing.
“You know how worried I was?!.”
“So-sorry Tubbo, i… was distracted..” Ranboo started talking, wanting to justify himself, but the shorter one cut him off before he could do that.
“Distracted?! With what?!.” Tubbo asked, his voice going higher and higher with each word that came out of his mouth. His eyes had a dark glint on them.
The half enderman wasn’t sure if he should tell the goat hybrid about his encounter with Tommy. One of his sides was telling him to not do that, because he knew of how possessive the other alpha could be of the blond omega, but his other side was telling him to tell the brunet, telling him how Tubbo would know if he lied and his punishment surely could be worse.
A few seconds later, he decided to tell the truth.
“I was with Tommy….” The older alpha whispers out, forcing himself not to stutter at Tuboo’s harsh stare.
Suddenly, the brunet’s face changed, his expression becoming blank. He seemed to be processing Ranboo’s response, now looking at the floor instead of the taller one's eyes.
“You… were with Tommy?...” The alpha’s voice was quiet, but intimidating at the same time.
While Tubbo may be shorter than Ranboo, only reaching his shoulders, he was stronger, making it easy for the younger alpha to dominate and intimidate the older. It was something Tubbo took great joy in doing, being more powerful than a half enderman.
It took some seconds for the brown haired boy to react, using almost half of his strength to pull Ranboo down by his tie. The half ‘n half boy started to shake even more, afraid he had angered Tubbo even more and because of how the brunet’s eyes were locked into his own.
“What did you do and where were you with him?. And don’t you dare lie to me, I would know.” The goat hybrid said in a demanding tone, the dark glint on his eyes returning.
And word after word came out of Ranboo’s mouth, saying how Tommy was doing, telling him of his new son, and most important of all, how the blond bunny wanted to be alone for the time being.
Each sentence made Tubbo’s eyes darkened more and more, a somewhat amused expression on his face when he said the last bit.
“Tommy? Wanting to be alone? Don’t make me laugh!.” He said loudly, a teeth showing grin on his face. “Tommy doesn’t like being alone. He’s needy. Always wanting to be with someone, either to follow or talk to.” As he talked, his voice leaked in slight desperation, like he wanted to make himself only believe in his own words.
“But it’s true Tubbo!.” The enderman hybrid yelled out, his hands clenched into fists. “He doesn’t want to see anyone! Not you, not me! The only reason I was able to go with him was because I used my alpha voice!.”
But before Ranboo could think of what he did, he felt pain on his cheek.

Chapter Text
Ranboo stood still, not knowing what to say at what just happened, while also feeling the sting of the slap against his cheek.
The goat hybrid was gritting his teeth, looking with anger and indifference at the taller hybrid. There wasn't any kindness there, not like the time they first met or when they married.
“That's what you deserve, and don’t make me do worse, because you know I will.” The brunet said, anger filling his tone of voice. He held his fist out, while looking directly into Ranboo’s eyes.
The half enderman didn’t say anything, he only lowered his head and teleported away, knowing he couldn’t face Tubbo right now.
It wasn't the first time the young alpha hitted him, it was far from that, but it always felt terrible.
He doesn’t know how true their friendship is. Sometimes Tubbo will be nice and kind, giving him sweet words every time he gets nervous, saying how good their friendship is, but, other times Tubbo would yell and throw things, screaming harsh words against him, or just yelling in frustration at Tommy not messaging him.
Ranboo sat on his bed, hugging his legs against his chest, trying to hold back tears, only letting sobs out, not wanting to hurt himself at the moment.
This has happened before, him bringing up how he and Tommy were really good friends when the little bun was in exile, how sad he was he couldn’t really do much to help because of Dream(how the man had blown up all the things he gave Tommy when he visited every time), briefly mentioning how the omega called him his best friend, feeling happy that the younger boy felt that way about him.
Let's just say that Tubbo wasn't himself that day.
– ☢ –
When Tommy woke up, he was welcomed by the darkness of his room, light barely able to enter through the windows thanks to the curtains.
He stood up, changed into his normal clothes, his red and white shirt, beige shorts and a blue cardigan, left his room and walked towards the kitchen.
When he got there, the first thing he did was open the curtains, letting the kitchen brighten up. The blond let out a sigh as the sunlight hitted his face, liking how warm it was.
The bunny took out the things to bake, he was going to make simple strawberry cookies, Shroud’s favorites.
As he baked, his mind went somewhere else, thinking about Ranboo, thinking about how he couldn’t deny having the alpha in his house. It made something inside of him purr at the thought of Ranboo being with him after so long.
Maybe he will give Ranboo another opportunity, to talk and see each other. Maybe, to be friends again, but not for now, right now he only wanted to clear his mind and take care of his little spider.
When the cookies were ready, he went to turn around and wake up his son, but was interrupted by something, or rather someone, crashing into him from behind.
“Mommy!.” He heard a very familiar voice yell, full of happiness and energy.
“Oh honey, you gave me a scare.” The omega said sweetly, petting his son’s head with careful movements.
The black haired kid giggled and leaned into the touch, loving every gentle touch his mommy gave him.
“Now, go sit and wait until I give you breakfast. It won’t take so much.” He told the younger one, and Shroud listened, going to sit on his chair.
And not so long after, both of them were eating their food, Shroud telling the older one about all the things he wanted to do, like chasing butterflies and collecting the pretty flowers that grow around their home.
But they are soon interrupted by knocking on the door.
Tommy went still at that, before sighing and standing up from his chair.
– ☢ –
Ranboo stood anxiously behind Tommy’s house door, his long tail wagging from side to side as he waited for the blond boy to answer.
Soon, he heard light footsteps from inside the house.
The door slowly opened, revealing the short bunny hybrid at the other side of the door. His face was showing distrust, but when he saw who was there, his expression changed to confusion.
“Ranboo? What are you doing here?.” The blond omega asked, his voice a little slurred from not being entirely woken up yet.
The alpha didn’t know what to say, he didn’t want to tell the little bunny how his situation with Tubbo was, how surely the friend he had known wasn’t there anymore.
So he didn’t say any of that, he just told Tommy that he wanted to spend some time with him and catch up on more things. And sure, maybe the blond boy wasn’t all that convinced about that shit Ranboo pulled, but accepted it nonetheless.
“Alright, just come in.” Tommy’s voice sounded tired, like he rather not have to deal with this, and probably, he did.
Ranboo nodded happily, stepping inside the house.
– ☢ –
Meanwhile in Snowchester, not everything was so fine.
Tubbo was fuming, just noticing that his husband wasn’t here anymore. He wanted to grab that bastard and make him spill about all the things he did with Tommy, during exile and this little hang out they had yesterday.
Make him regret not telling him about all the things they did during exile, and probably all the things Tommy told him during that time.
Tommy….
Oh, how he wished Tommy came to him to tell him about all the things that happened to him, to come to him when he was sad.
How he wished to just hold the little omega close and never let him go away, never again.
But for now he had to calm down and make a plan for that. Maybe he could convince Ranboo to support him on this, they both wanted the best for Tommy after all, both of them wanted to protect their little friend from the dangers of this world.
Many think of Ranboo as someone soft, that could do no wrong, and while yes, he was a really nice guy, he also had a side he wanted no one to know of.
Tubbo knows how to recognize a possessive person even if they tried to hide it, he was one and has grown with people like that.
He just had to wait for the time to come.
Tubbo just needed to break Ranboo a bit. Let that monster hidden inside of the half enderman break out and convince him to keep Tommy safe, even if he was sure he wouldn't need to do any convincing.

Chapter Text
Tommy walks in silence, not saying a word as he listens to Ranboo following him not so far from behind.
He can feel the enderman’s eyes stare into his back, burning holes in there. He can imagine it, he has felt this before, with his brother every time he went too far away from home, with Tubbo when he didn’t pay attention to him.
It leaves a weird sense of familiarity, that it makes him feel relaxed, he had always loved things that felt familiar to him, like the warm feeling of the nether or how Tubbo’s once soft and warm hugs reminded him of an old friend.
But, with it also came the feeling of not being his own, being always watched by someone else that though they could control his every move, either it was a good or bad one.
He knew Ranboo didn’t mean it to make it that way, at least he hoped he didn’t. The half n’ half boy wasn’t an evil possessive creature, he was nice and kind. He surely wouldn't force him to do things he felt uncomfortable with.
He tries to forget when Ranboo used his alpha voice on him.
As soon as he stepped inside his kitchen, he saw Shroud sitting on his chair, moving his legs back and forth as he played with some toy he surely had found.
“Honey, I'm back!.” The golden haired bunny said, petting his son’s head gently.
Shroud turned his gaze to the blond boy excitedly, just to stop when he saw the person behind his mommy. There was the same guy from yesterday, standing there like he owned the place.
“Mommy, why is he here?.” Asked the kid, turning his eyes to the mentioned man, who seemed confused for a second before it clicked in his head, the young boy was staring at him with caution. Of course the kid wouldn't trust him yet.
Tommy shrugged, dragging another chair close to the table, sitting down on his own and indicating to the taller man to do the same.
–♕–
Ranboo didn’t know what he was doing. He was so sure he needed to let the blond bunny have some time to think of yesterday, but something in him was telling him to go to him, forcing him to stay and keep the omega on his sight.
“So, Boo, how’s the family? I haven’t seen Tubbo in a long time and I would like to know about how he’s doing.” Said Tommy, resting his elbows on the table and putting his palms against his cheeks.
He was concerned about his friend's well-being, and even though he didn’t want to see him for the moment, asking about him didn’t hurt anyone. Also, the curiosity was bigger than everything for the moment.
“He’s…. Doing alright, if not a bit overworked.” Responded the alpha, trying no to think of the things of yesterday night. “He spends most of his time working on his own things. And Michael is fine, a happy and healthy kid.”
The blond boy didn’t say anything at that. He knew his friend well, and he knew that a tired and overworked Tubbo, wasn't a nice Tubbo.
All of the times he had to patch himself up because the goat hybrid couldn't control himself.
Worst of all, Ranboo was now living with the brown haired boy, who had surely lived in first person about what Tubbo became when he was like that.
But, instead of saying all of the things he wanted to say to his friend, he just nodded, letting out a simple hum and nothing more.
–♕–
Tubbo walked through the SMP, looking at his surroundings with indifference, sometimes waving at people that said hello to him.
He sometimes looked at the flowers that he encountered, those pretty things reminding Tubbo of Tommy, of how the boy could always know every flower and make flower crowns for his friends and family.
Where was he going? He doesn’t know yet, but something inside him tells him where to go and where to look.
He sees many familiar faces, but he doesn’t pay attention to them, his mind only focuses on two people.
His instincts almost purr with delight when he reaches the dirt hut of Tommy, decorated with pretty flowers of all colors and lanterns hanging at the entrance.
He can smell the preeminent smell of sweet vanilla that the blond boy has acquired when he had his heat, mixed with a soft scent of milk and cotton.
And a very, very, faint smell of ink.
Tubbo’s nose scrunched at that, recognizing Ranboo’s scent immediately, what was he doing here?.
The simple thought that another alpha was with the little bunny made his alpha side growl with rage, but he had to remember, Ranboo was part of their herd, he wasn’t some enemy or random alpha, like Techno or Sam.
The goat hybrid had to exhale and inhale to calm himself more, not wanting to destroy anything of Tommy’s while he was angry.
He started to make his way to a window with slow and silent steps, not wanting to make himself known for the moment being. When he reached one, he eyed a flower pot that was there, it wasn’t a real flower, it was one made of wool and sticks, and it looks like it was made by a child.
He shakes his head slightly, ready to focus on what’s inside of the house.
What he saw made him both angry and happy.
Inside were Ranboo, Tommy and some spider kid, the two teens talking slowly and calmly, like there wasn't a wrong thing in the world. The half enderman was eyeing Tommy like he was everything, his long thin tail wagging from side to side in a slow way, and Tommy was talking to the older like they were friends from years ago, talking without problems and with so much trust.
It made him feel sour and happy, and he felt dizzy for a moment, his instincts demanding very different things, one saying keep the omega safe and the alpha away, and the other saying to let them bond with each other, so it could be easier to keep Tommy with them.
It started to make him feel a little dizzy, hearing his instincts scream inside his head.
But, he was always someone capable of making third options.
–♕–
Ranboo likes talking to Tommy, letting the blond omega talk his head off, telling him about how he started to sew again and of the beauty of the flowers and their meaning.
Tommy also made him talk, asking about the well being of Michael or asking him what the little piglin hybrid liked, wanting to make him some gift. How sweet, Ranboo thought, already imagining how happy his kid would be, the little kid loved the golden haired omega after all, from the short time they had met.
The alpha couldn't help but slightly sniff the air from time to time, doing it subtly of course, and stare at Tommy’s eyes directly, not blinking anytime as he did so, surely looking creepy to the poor boy.
Ranboo also looked from time to time at Shroud, who seemed to be ignoring him and falling asleep on the table. The blond bunny seemed to see this as well, excusing himself, moving towards his child and carrying him in a bridal style, walking to the kid’s room.
That left the half n’ half boy alone, and he was about to get lost in his mind, until his nose catched the familiar scent of cinnamon, a scent he was really familiar with.
He sniffed the air, until he came face to face with the window of the house, but also coming face to face with his husband, who stared at him with a blank expression and a dark aura around him.

Chapter Text
Ranboo flinched when their eyes locked together, immediately feeling the utter rage his platonic partner was experiencing. He could see Tubbo gritting his teeth at him, his fist clenching and unclenching.
From how the brunet was looking at him, this wasn’t gonna end well for him.
–❀–
When Tommy came back, the first thing he saw was Ranboo fidgeting with his fingers and his tail wagging in a nervous way. He stood stunned for a few seconds, before scolding himself and continuing walking towards the table the alpha was in.
“Ranboo? Everything’s okay?.” The omega asked, sitting on his own chair and resting his elbows against the wooden table.
The half n’ half boy apparently got out of his trance the second he finished his question, snapping his head towards him. And for what felt like a second, there was a scared, or terrified, look on his face, before he changed it into a calm one, with a small nervous smile.
“Yes, yes, Tommy. Everything is okay.” He answered, a shy grin taking over his calm smile. “Sorry if i worried you.” Ranboo added.
“Don’t worry! Besides, you’re my guest, it's my responsibility to make sure everything is nice for your stay.”
–❀–
When the time for Ranboo to leave came, they said their goodbyes and got to do their own things.
Tommy went back inside and walked to his bedroom, ready to sleep and fall back into the memories of the past, and Ranboo dying inside, scared shitless about confronting his husband.
The omega didn’t suspect a thing, the acting of the tall hybrid was much too good for his naive mind. And, while Ranboo wanted to warn the golden bunny about Tubbo’s attitude, he didn’t have the heart to ruin Tommy’s views on the other alpha even more.
It's when Ranboo was far away from the younger’s house that he heard the sound of footsteps behind him, and he knew who it was, already having felt this many times before.
And he was correct, soon his platonic partner appeared beside him, his arms folded behind his back, with a plain smile on his face that surely wasn’t meant to be seen as friendly and with a dark aura around him.
“So, you didn’t think of telling me this?.” The younger alpha questioned, raising a brow at him, with this creepy smile on his lips.
When Ranboo goes to talk, he is silenced by the other’s sharp stare. A silent way of telling him to shut up.
“But, y’know, this is kind of useful.” The brunet whispered, only loud enough to only Ranboo to hear him.
And if that didn’t send shivers through his back, then he didn’t know what could.
“What… do you mean?.” Ranboo asked, trying his best to not seem as scared as he was, but he knew the other could see right through it.
“Don’t you see?! This is perfect! You having Tommy’s trust means it could be easier to keep him safe!.” The goat hybrid yelled at him, a crazy look making its appearance on his face. “With Toms trusting you, we could easily persuade him into coming with us to safety!.” He finished his talking, looking at the older one with his toxic green eyes.
“I don’t know Tubbo. Even if I agreed with you, what if something went wrong? Tommy would end up surely hating us. What you’re trying to do is just plain manipulation, and you know how he gets with that .” Ranboo tried to sound serious, to not let his fear take over his voice.
Both of them knew how Tommy was with his family and Dream. His father and brothers always kept him away from others, he was sure Tommy once told him they tried to kill Tubbo once they got to know he was an alpha, and would surely have done that if the golden bun hadn't been there to intervene.
And we need to talk about Dream?.
“Oh, I get where you’re getting with that, but trust me! He wouldn't know! Or if he did, he wouldn't even stand a chance against both of us. With my strength and your words, we could have him safe and sound in our arms!.”
Ranboo stared wide eyed at the shorter hybrid. He felt like puking, feeling disgusted at Tubbo’s reasoning, or what he wanted to do to Tommy, their friend.
He wanted the blond boy to be safe, like any other friend should, but he wouldn't go that far!. They shouldn't go that far!.
“Tubbo, i think you aren’t getting the point in this, Tommy wouldn't trust both of us anytime soon if we did that to him, he would surely hate us, we’ll surely remind him of Dream. He’ll probably run away and get hurt.” The tall hybrid said, looking at the green-eyed boy with a serious face.
“No, no, i think YOU aren’t getting the point!.” He clapped his hands together as he said that, sending Ranboo a face that reminded the older hybrid of that green hooded man. “This isn’t about Tommy hating us or not, nor about him running away and hurting himself in his moment of rebellion. This is about taking him to safety through any means necessary. If he ends up hating us, then happy for him, if he ends up running away then i could just follow him, if he ends up hurting himself doing that, then you and i can heal him, and what if we hurt him a bit in the process? We can just heal him and say it's for his own good.” Tubbo said, looking directly into Ranboo’s eyes, a wide grin taking place on his face, showing all of his teeth.
Ranboo stood still at his words, his eyes wide and his body shaking in fear like it hasn’t done in a long while, no since Dream got in prison. He could feel his heart beat at a fast speed.
“Now, c’mon, we need to get home. We can discuss this later on.” The brunet said like he hadn't just said all of those things earlier, a plain smile overtaking that crazed look on his face.
–❀–
Tommy slept peacefully, dreaming of happy times with his family and a friendly demon teaching how to shoot an arrow.
Completely unaware of what was going on with his two other friends, oblivious to the fact one of them was insane and the other in danger.
Notes:
Happy Pride Month folks!. How's your day going?.
A year ago i told my mom my sexuality and she thought i did it because i liked someone and wanted to hide it. She's okay with it btw.
