Chapter Text

SoaringZenith: Got released from jail and immediately went and hugged Clover, telling them they were my child.

SoaringZenith: They got all teary-eyed and hugged me back.

SoaringZenith: We’re at my house in Snowdin now.

SoaringZenith: How’re your days going thus far?

GreenMother: Wow, talk about eventful.

GreenMother: Izuku and I are hanging out and watching the UA Sports Festival.

GreenMother: While I’ll worry about him, I feel like he could easily be a pro, even despite his Quirklessness.

Erased: Yeah, the kid’s got a sharp mind. He just needs to actually work out.

GreenMother: We know, but no gym will accept him due to his Quirklessness.

Erased: …That’s bullshit.

GreenMother: I’ve brought the blatant case of Quirkism to the police each and every time, and got laughed out of the station. Except for one time, where I met Detective Tsukauchi. He took the case, and then was forced to drop it by his boss not even a week later.

Erased: Ugh. Yeah, I remember him complaining about that now. He told me about this woman coming in and reporting a gym that refused to serve her son because he was Quirkless, and when he took the case, his boss made him drop it.

OwlLady: I’m running my human goods stall today.

OwlLady: Wait, did you say Izuku?

GreenMother: Uh… yeah?

GreenMother: Why?

OwlLady: And your name’s Inko?

GreenMother: Yeah…?

OwlLady: Uh… well, this is awkward.

OwlLady: I, uh… I’m not sure how to say this. Do you know what happened to your husband?

GreenMother: Uh… He said he needed to go to America to work, why?

OwlLady: His name was Rhine, right?

GreenMother: Edalyn, what are you saying!?

OwlLady: Rhine Salaman was a Witch, like me. He was also a Wild Witch, outlaws who refuse to agree to the Emperor’s dumb Coven system.

OwlLady: He was Petrified a few years ago. Permanently turned into stone. It can’t be reversed.

OwlLady: I’m sorry, Inko.

GreenMother: I… I need some time to process this. Goodnight, everyone.

~~~~~~~
GreenBean: Guys, I need comfort.
GreenBean: I just found out that my dad’s dead.
Nightlight: Oh, no!
Nightlight: Wanna do a video call?
GreenBean: …sure.
>User Nightlight has started a video call. Join?
On one end of the cameras sat a nine-year-old boy with green hair and eyes. On the other sat a nine-year-old girl with brown hair and eyes. The boy had clearly been crying, and his face still held a frown.
“H-Hey, Luz,” Izuku said.
“Hey, ‘Zuku,” Luz replied. “You wanna talk about it?”
“...So, I found out my dad was dead from my mom telling me. She found out due to someone in the parent group chat. Apparently, my dad was a Witch, but was recently petrified by the emperor of his home world.”
“Oh, I’m so sorry! I wish I could be over there, so I could give you a hug!”
“I… thanks, Luz. Just… just having you here is enough for me, though… Tell me about your day?”
“Sure, ‘Zuku. So, it started…”
As Luz talked about her day, Izuku listened, letting the sound of her voice comfort him.
YellowCowfolk: Oh, man, that sucks, Izuku! Let me know if you need anything! I can try to figure out a way to send it to you!
Eggplant: Dad and I are on our way to your house. You and your mother need company right now.
Eggplant: We’re bringing food.
Submachine: Dad’s letting me stay home from school today so I can be there if you need me.
GreenBean: It’s fine, Uzi. Go to school. Neither Luz nor I have school today, so we’ll probably talk all day.
“It’s nice, isn’t it?” Luz asked. “Having so many friends willing to comfort you?”
“Yeah,” Izuku replied.
“...Remember when my dad died?”
“The whole chat grouped together to comfort you. It was the first time any of us had seen each others’ faces, besides those of us from the same world, like Vanessa and Norm.” Izuku then chuckled slightly. It was amused, but didn’t entirely hide his grief. “You and I both screamed in shock upon seeing Uzi. Norm looks like a stereotypical robot, but Uzi…”
“She had hair, a properly-moving mouth… Neither of us were expecting it, even with her warnings. Though, your face cheered me up pretty quickly.”
“Oh, come on!” Izuku laughed. “Like yours was any better! I just didn’t want to laugh at someone who’d just lost her father!” Izuku sighed, much calmer than he was previously. “Hey, Luz?”
“Yeah?”
“Thanks for comforting me.”
“Of course! What are friends for?”
“Well, yeah, but still. You… you’re a great friend.” Luz started blushing slightly at this, and smiled softly at Izuku.
“You’re a great friend, too, ‘Zuku. I’ll always be there for you.”
~~~~~~~

GreenMother: Camilla, tell your daughter I said thank you.

GreenMother: She’s on a video call with Izuku, and was comforting him.

Nightfall: Got it.

Within a realm separate to the others, one lone entity stood. They wore a cloak, concealing their features, and seemed to be turned away from the Narrator. If one listened closely, the entity seemed to be growling.

“I will find a way to end the pain he’s caused…” the entity stood. Even the omnipresent and immortal Narrator shook in fear for the person the entity was talking about. “Even if it costs me my life."

Notes:

The idea that Izuku's dad was a Wild Witch and petrified was created by Voltage. I renamed Hisashi to match his Witch nature, by giving him a more Boiling Isles name(Rhine, short for Rhinestone).
