Description:

Equius: Void; Verb: To Empty or Evacuate (a space).

Roxy: Void; Adjective: Completely empty.

Horuss: Void; Noun: a completely empty space.

Void; Synonyms (adj, v, n): Blank; empty; purge; evacuate; vacant; clear; lacking; vacuum… to name a few.

The Void is a complexity; everything, but also nothing. That's something our local Void players understand rather well.

It's enough to have an effect on the people close to them, too. These are their stories, taking place from when they finally finish the game and so on. Each Void player has their own story, and their companions have their stories, too.

The Yawning Abyss of the Unknown is what links these three together. Let's find out what they've been up to.

Notes:

[EDIT 05-01-25: THE VOID SERIES now has its own workskin! Because I made the discovery that Kurloz types in a lighter text than Gamzee and I wanted to represent that. Sorry for typing you in Gamzee's text color for so long, Kurloz.]

Equius's Void:

Sometimes it’s easier to hide than it is to face your fears. To face the fact that the people you once cared about are dead set on killing you. Not that you don’t deserve it; You just don’t want to die.

Sometimes it’s easier to become somewhat of a cryptid and ignore everyone and everything that isn’t your moirail. Sometimes you kind of prefer it like that.

And sometimes? Sometimes The Void accidentally locks you in a Food Storage Cabinet for 4 days without realising. Sometimes The Void decides to take you in as a Block Mate instead of killing you for stealing food.

Sometimes, Rage can get trapped inside the Void. Sometimes, when so many people scream their Rage into the Void, The Void needs someone to scream back at. Who better to scream at than the one who can destroy Rage?

Roxy's Void:

Roxy knows she’s no longer alone, and she’s very glad of that fact. Building the little neighbourhood with all the game players living near each other was actually her idea. So no one would be lonely. She thought that since they all had similar experiences, they could relate to one another in ways they can’t with the general public.

It’s when she’s alone that she realised why everyone was worried about her decisions. Maybe what she needed was a block of flats instead. Bring people closer together. Can’t be lonely when you’re all packed in one building!

Even when surrounded with people, she feels Void spaces inside her. A Void no person could ever fill. Sometimes she barely knows who she is. She doesn’t know if she’s fine with that.

It’s better to just ignore it, right?

Except, sometimes you can't ignore it anymore.

Horuss's Void:

Life is hard and Horuss understands this all too well. E%patriating himself from his friends, he lives on his own; in a place he now calls home.

The problem is, no one can truly let go. Definitely not him.

He’s never had a good grasp of his own Void, after all, so it’d be very easy to get lost inside it. Can he truly overcome such an obstacle, when his entire world has crumpled before him?
