Summary
Dean Winchester has grown used to God dicking around in his life the last couple years. But this crap? This takes the CAKE ... or pie, rather. Now he's been thrown a whole new curve-ball. The kind that has ended the Civil War in Heaven ... but resulted in Raphael taking over, and hunting for Dean's ass on a silver platter. Not to mention dealing with Balthazar acting like a self-righteous prick, Sam having some big damn epiphany on his big brother's sexuality, and Cas eying him up like he's the world's juiciest cheeseburger. All that mixed with the chance to fix it all and set everything to rights ... but only if Dean is willing to sacrifice himself. Again. Seriously, if he ever meets that bastard God he's gonna- ... oh hey, Chuck! What are you doing here?

Summary
The war in Heaven was over and the world was right again. As right as it could be, anyway, considering there were still all manner of monsters and assholes scurrying free across its surface. The All Mighty Father had finally shown his face and cleaned up his mess. Of course, his version of cleaning had been using Dean Winchester as the mighty Swiffer of destruction in Heaven, but hey … it all ended up okay, right?
Only now... Dean finds himself with a houseful of angels that are apparently his, a burgeoning relationship that he as NO IDEA what to do with, and Crowley sneaking about in the shadows. Oh... did he mention that he can somehow heal plants on accident and maybe fix the cracks in plaster by staring at them? Yeah, well... there's that.

Summary
SEASON 6 AU - Dean was pretty used to weird shit happening to him by now. Really, after you've been used as a weapon for God, saved the world, died, come back and then been told by the Almighty himself that the future of Heaven is in your hands ... what can really surprise you anymore? Okay, so ... maybe the two massive sets of wings he's recently acquired shocked him a bit. And early morning visits from the horseman of Death can be a tad off-putting. He really didn't foresee the Gabriel lusting after Sammy issue before it smacked him in the face, either. Then of course, Crowley suddenly being able to control Death's reapers kinda sucks, as does his perpetual boner for trying to snuff Dean from existence. So yeah. Basically he's pretty screwed. Although visiting the Texas State Fair was fun. (Even if it was in 1982. And he was with Death.) But hey, the corn-dogs were freaking delicious, so ... bonus!!!

Summary
(Canon up to Season 6 - alternate timeline to date.) There are some things Dean Winchester knows for sure about his current life. He loves his angel and his brother and his family of choice. (Even though Balthazar's a snooty little douche-nugget. The Grim Reaper is a flighty friend, at best. And Gabriel is about to drive everyone up the wall with his obsession for getting into Sam's pants.)
There are some things Dean Winchester knows for sure about his future. He will always have Cas and his brother at his side, even in the afterlife. He'll one day have the world of humanity and a whole host of angel dickbags under his charge. And he's apparently destined for Celestial Greatness. (Trademark. Copyright. Yay. Thanks for that, Chuck. Please note the deadpan sarcastic delivery.)
And then... there are some things that Dean Winchester doesn't have a flippin' clue about. Why is Crowley suddenly so willing to be buddy-buddy with him? How many wings can one man realistically have? Where the hell is Adam? Who the frick is Abaddon? And what's in the GODDAMN BOX!?! ........ maybe he should have left that last one alone.

Summary
(Canon up to Season 6 - alternate timeline to date.) Chuck has handed over the mantel of God to Dean Winchester. He has the power, the angels, he's not quite ready for the throne yet, thanks... and he's got Cas. He isn't doing too bad at the job, but it's getting a little overwhelming. He's having memories of people that he doesn't remember ever meeting. He's beginning to lose himself to the power that he wields. He might even be accidentally causing his loved ones to drift away from him. It sucks.
Castiel thinks that he's losing Dean. He starts to doubt his place at his side. So perhaps he does something very foolish... but certainly he can trust the Scribe ... the Word of God?
