Summary
A twisted alternate outcome for the episode 'The Collector' in which 10K and Murphy find themselves the captives of a deranged psychopath--a.k.a 'the collector' himself. The dynamic between Murphy and 10K never stops evolving. Over the course of events,10K might not hate Murphy as much as he thought he did, and Murphy learns he wants 10K to be alright. Summary
10K had started to think he was part of a family, a good one. A strong one. He had started to believe he was becoming stronger because of them, and alongside them.
The unthinkable—the unsurvivable—these are part of everyday life for the whole group, but 10K had made it through each and every worst-case scenario. He knew if it weren't for the group... if it weren't for... *him*... he wouldn't be alive today.
But what if it's too much this time? What if this is something he won't see the other side of?
10K would never have chosen this path, not even to save his own life. He would have chosen death over this in a heartbeat. But his choice was taken from him, and what's done can never be undone. He has only two options now: adapt; somehow make this okay... or let this apocalypse finally take him down with the rest of fallen humanity.
