Summary
Wise shifted slightly in the white lingerie, the weight of Lycaon's silence almost too much.
"You okay? Should I change back?" he asked, his voice slightly trembling.Lycaon took a single step forward, almost cautiously. His voice was low, hoarse when it came out.
"Wise... when did you? How long...?"Wise lowered his gaze with a small smile, brushing a hand through his hair in self-consciousness.
"I bought it after our last talk. You remember? When you told me how it pained you to even have to look at these ceremony documents?."Lycaon gave him the faintest nod, eyes still unable to leave him.
"I may not have handed my hand in marriage to anyone," Wise said softly, "but tonight... I want to hand myself to you."

Summary
“That’s the kind of drive you can’t just… shut off. It runs through their blood. Even the most composed ones aren’t immune to this deep longing...”, she said, then paused before adding:
“Must be exhausting. Keeping up with all that instinct. Especially if… if you can’t give him what he’s wired to want most.”
Pulchra’s words linger—long after the conversation ends.
Wise can’t stop replaying them. Can’t stop wondering if she’s right. What if he can’t give Lycaon the one thing nature may have wired him to crave most? A family. A child. A legacy of blood.
The thought gnaws at him, opens a deep chasm of inadequacy and fear:"Am I enough? Is love enough?"

Summary
“Wiiiiiiiiise~” Lycaon slurred, drawing out his name like a lovesick man calling out for the one person he needed most, as he stumbled forward with arms outstretched.
His usually sharp gaze was dazed, pupils blown wide, and the tips of his ears twitched erratically. The fur along his neck and jaw looked slightly puffed, betraying the heat burning beneath it, no doubt a side effect of Burnice’s infernal brew.
And then, without thinking twice, he pulled Wise into a big, squishy hug—wrapping around him like an oversized fuzzy blanket that had decided to grow arms.
Lycaon was drunk, completely drunk.
