Summary
Based off idea of “everyone else is playing checkers while I’m playing chess.” Miles is trying to think about Phoenix and why he acts the way he does by thinking through chess logic (one move leads to another one or sets up something.) The reason he never is able to figure him out is because he needs to think about it like poker (not showing his hand, bluffing his way through no matter what.)
