Summary
In another world, he thinks, she would be his botany teacher, just plain old Mrs. Thornhill, and he an outcast at Nevermore. In this world, she is his jailer and his mistress, and has rights over his body that he does not.
The thing is, Tyler has no one to tell, not really. Who would believe him? He does not believe it, himself. The soreness of his body and the blood on his hands are all part and parcel of the same dream or nightmare, in which a woman makes him into a monster.
