Summary
In Ninjago City, Lloyd Garmadon lives two lives — one as the son of the city’s greatest villain, Lord Garmadon, and another as its hidden savior, the Green Ninja. But neither identity brings him peace. To the world, he’s a walking reminder of destruction. To his peers, a curse they wish would disappear. Every smile he offers is met with scorn; every act of heroism is overshadowed by the shadow of his father’s name.
Day by day, the walls close in, the weight of expectations, the loneliness of secrecy, and the aching realization that no one truly sees him. Even his mother, kind as she is, cannot shield him from the whispers, the hate, and the exhaustion that come from trying to be light in a city that refuses to forgive his bloodline.
And so one evening, standing at the edge of Ninjago Harbor beneath the eyes of the city that condemned him, Lloyd finally breaks. His voice shakes as he apologizes to a world that never wanted him, and he jumps. The water swallows him whole.
