Summary
It’s canon that Peter chased Neal for three years before catching him. But what if there was one year that wasn’t counted in that total, a sort of gap year before everything became legal and above board. This is basically a pre-series AU fiction that highlights romantic interludes between two very different men who became lovers for a short while. In fairness, I should make you aware that this particular fiction starts out rather raunchy but then becomes more of a saga revolving around a con man’s dangerous escapades and Peter’s worry and apprehension concerning Neal’s wellbeing. Eventually, it entails a life-threatening situation and an errand of mercy. So, consider yourself forearmed with that knowledge before reading.
